Units Operating Under the General Secretariat

The units operating under the General Secretariat consist of 5 units at the headquarters—namely the Planning, Programming, and Coordination Unit, Program Management Unit, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit, Human Resources and Support Services Unit, and the Promotion and Public Relations Unit—as well as the Investment Support Offices located in each province. The Agency carries out its activities through the experts and support staff working in these units, as well as the Investment Support Office (ISO) coordinators and experts in the provinces. The Agency currently employs 5 heads of units, 4 Investment Support Office Coordinators, 21 experts, and 7 support personnel.

Planning, Programming, and Strategy Development Unit

The Planning, Programming, and Strategy Development Unit is the core service unit that conducts regional planning, program development, and strategy formulation activities aimed at supporting the sustainable development of the TR71 Region (Aksaray, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Nevşehir, and Niğde). The unit conducts research to reveal the region's economic, social, and cultural potential, prepares regional plans, and coordinates development processes in cooperation with local, national, and international stakeholders.

The unit is responsible for designing financial and technical support programs implemented by the Agency, preparing application guidelines, receiving project applications, evaluating them, and managing the contracting processes. Additionally, it contributes to the development of high-quality projects by organizing information sessions and project preparation trainings for potential beneficiaries.

The unit also carries out corporate communication and promotion activities; it coordinates all communication efforts, particularly the Agency's website and social media channels, manages press and public relations activities, oversees corporate identity studies, and organizes events aimed at increasing the Agency's visibility at both national and international levels. Furthermore, it supports the development of new opportunities that will contribute to the region's development through activities such as managing external relations, international collaborations, and tracking grant resources.

Corporate Coordination and Management Unit

The Corporate Coordination and Management Unit is the core service unit that ensures the administrative, financial, and organizational processes of the Agency are conducted with an efficient, transparent, and sustainable approach. The unit coordinates administrative processes such as human resources, procurement, financial affairs, movable and immovable property management, document and archiving services, right-to-information applications, CIMER (Presidential Communication Center) procedures, internal control, and corporate security.

The unit also carries out contract management, project implementation and monitoring activities, guidance for beneficiaries, evaluation of payment processes, performance and impact analyses, and risk management studies within the scope of the support programs executed by the Agency. Contributing to the enhanced effectiveness of support programs, the unit aims to ensure the efficient use of resources, execute project processes in compliance with legislation, and strengthen corporate management capacity.

Investment Support Offices (ISOs)

Aksaray, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Nevşehir, and Niğde Investment Support Offices fulfill the duties of promoting the business and investment environment to domestic and foreign investors, and supporting potential investors during investment processes. Additionally, they execute the tasks assigned to investment support offices by regulations regarding incentive processes related to state supports for investments.
